next version, 1.9.8 - release status?

Any news on when next version, 1.9.8 will be released?
I'd like to know this too, its almost been 2 months since the last version so I believe it should be out fairly soon!
P.S. This forum has been badly scammed by a few idiots with Korean messages, Mike should really be improve the security on this site!
