I recently bought a copy of MakeMKV.. And it works great. But my friend said that MakeMKV does not remove region lock.. It only decrypts the Bluray. Can you confirm with me? Does it removes region lock for Blurays?

As I understand the "region lock" on Bluray, it is not like "region coding" in DVDs. There are different entries in the directory for different regions, and the player plays the appropriate files... which say "this disk isn't for this region" if your player's region isn't the one which the disk is licensed for.

I've done both region A and B BDs with MakeMKV, and the video is just fine. Haven't had a reason to test region C.
