I recently installed Windows 10 while using version 1.9.4. Prior to installing Windows 10 I was able to upgrade to newer versions of MakeMKV without any issues. However, since installing Windows 10 I have tried repeatedly to upgrade to versions 1.9.5, 1.9.6, and now 1.9.7, without success. Everytime, after closing all other windows, when I click 'Next' on the Setup wizard I get the error message that Make MKV is running and that I should close the application and click 'OK' to continue. I check the running processes and the only MakeMKV process I can see is the Setup wizard. I even tried to uninstall version 1.9.4 to attempt a clean install and ran into the same issue. Any thoughts on what to try next to get by this hurdle?

Do you get the same issue if you do the install immediately after booting the computer?

There are some issues with doing installs while the old version is still being uninstalled, but they shouldn't happen if you let the uninstall complete, THEN do the install.
