I just rebuilt my PC and my key to register no longer works. MakeMKV has worked really well and I want it back. Any help?

If you are trying to paste the key in from the email, your email program MAY be adding some "extra stuff" to the clipboard. I've seen this on far too many things (not just MakeMKV!) when dealing with copy/paste operations, especially from Microsoft mail products.

Try this:

Open Notepad (or, if we're not talking a Windows machine, your choice of a TEXT ONLY editor).

Open the email with the key. Copy the key from the email into the clipboard.

Paste the key into Notepad.

Verify that the key only has printable characters, and no odd "control" characters. It should be 68 characters long.

Select the key in Notepad, and copy it into the clipboard.

Now, paste THAT into MakeMKV's registration field.

Thanks for that. Tried it. no luck. Tried numerous times manually typing it in, no luck.
Since Make MKV has no official helpdesk I hope that I haven't done my money. That would be just wrong............

I have emailed support. I couldn't see that email address anywhere.

I did what Woodstock suggested and emailed support on the 20/6/15 and 24/6/15... No reply, not even a "We will look into it reply".
Does anyone know why MakeMKV is not supporting their product. I paid for it and my key no longer works after less than 12 months.

I know that MakeMKV is not Mike's full-time job, and he sometimes disappears from here for a week or so. But he's usually pretty fast when you email about a registration issue.

Fair enough. I will wait.
