I am trying to extract the audio from a classical music DVD with 8 classical music pieces, each of which has 4-6 tracks. But the first one that MakeMKV lists is not the first one on the disk contents list.

How do I tell which track is which? Also, there are many more tracks listed on the back of the Blu Ray DVD than there are in, say the stream subdirectory. So I am confused.

The track order displayed in MakeMKV is the physical order of the tracks in the directory of the disk, rather than alphabetical. You check the file names by clicking on each title in the left menu, and noting the file name shown in the right window, which displays the details.

That said, where those files show up in the DVD menu when you play the disk directly is anyone's guess. The most usual way to figure them out is to note the run times, and compare those to what MakeMKV shows in the details.
