Why does it seem to take so long for my topics/posts to well...post? Does every post I make have to go through a moderator/admin?

Granted, this is only my third post, so is there some probationary period where all my posts have to be approved?

My first post contained links to two other MakeMKV posts and my last post contained no links or vulgar language at all, so I'm wondering what the holdup is if I'm not placing any external links or anything deemed to be a threat.

Some help would be appreciated...


UPDATE: Appears I may have had a link in the 2nd post as well. I suppose that makes sense. Sorry for bother everyone.

The issue is that we have had HUNDREDS of spammers pass through, posting links to various illegal products, and Mike decided to clamp down on it. If there is a link to any outside server, it needs moderator approval, even if you've been on the board for years.

There is a way to post links to makemkv.com that won't be locked in the moderation loop. You have to post them "raw", that is, not in URL tags, in the form:
