switched my desktop to a new one and swapped the dvd for my old pioneer blu ray writer


but every time I open Makemkv is keeps searching for a disc then says no disc (has there isn't a disc in the tray) and then keeps researching for a disc


can anyone help

What happens if you put a CD in the drive and try to open it with Media Player or VLC? Same with a DVD?

That would suggest that a driver is in place that is blocking things when a BD is inserted. The new machine didn't happen to come with BD-capable playback software installed, did it?
