I have files I ripped with another program, I use makemkv only now, question is when I use this program to combine all files into one file works great, but when I am done & want to do another batch of files I usually restart the program is it necessary to restart each time or is there some way to continue without restarting, if you read this please help

Still having problems figuring out what you mean... Are you using the command line version of MakeMKV, or the graphic user interface (GUI)?

The GUI does not need to be restarted between rips. If your source if a FILE rather than a DISK, you can work on another file by going back to the File menu, and opening the next file.
