I've never used makemkv before and have a couple of questions. Can makemkv grab the forced subs only? I get the feeling that it can't do flac yet? Right now i'm using eac3to with the arcsoft decoder and it takes my dts-ma HD track to lossless flac. I then load the subs in bdsup2sub to see if any have forced subs and if so, export them. Sometimes I also re-encode with ripbot and build the subs into the image.
Just curious how much makemkv can do and how many steps it can replace for me.

it doesn't do flac or any other conversions. it does not recognize forced subs.

it might do both in future, but not now. but you can convert to MKV first and then extract subtitle tracks to SUP and run eac3 to open DTS MA from MKV, if it is of any help.
