Libmqt.dll is missing

Dear MakeMKV Forum,
I recently installed MakeMKV 1.8.10 on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. Initially, the software met all my expectations as a great DVD ripper. After installing the software, I immediately ripped a copy of my wedding DVD. The ripping process took less than thirty minutes. However, after closing MakeMKV and restarting it a few hours later, I was greeted with the following message, “makemkv.exe – system error. The program can’t start because libmqt.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.”
I followed the program’s suggestion. I reinstalled MakMKV several times but I still received the same error after initially running the program, closing it and then restarting it again. Many Google queries about the problem stated a possible virus infection as the cause of the system error. I scanned my computer and the “Setup_MakeMKV_v1.8.10” file for viruses but there were no detections. How can I solve this problem?
