Hello list.

I'm just curious to the fact that when I use Handbrake to make an mkv file from a DVD, the conversion to m4p format (for AppleTV3) with Smart Converter Pro is almost always fast or fastest.
I've now tried out MakeMKV and it's mkv file demands the slowest conversion rate. Is it just a symptom of Handbrake doing a better job or is MakeMKV saving the file with a higher quality?

Not sure about Handbrake but makemkv does not compress the output file so you get full quality.
