I'm considering buying this software.

If I do, do I have to buy one license for my Win7 and one license for my Ubuntu even thou I'm dual booting them?

One license covers one machine running the software at any given time. Operating system and number of instances doesn't enter into the equation.

Good, thank you.

Could I expect that if I buy a just out Blu-Ray movie in 6 months that I'll be able to watch it with this software?

I think that my question was answered here:

/svq/

If I understand this correctly. If I were to buy a newly released Blue-Ray movie 6 months from today I would have to wait until the svq file is released (or request for it to be processed) before I could enjoy the movie on my laptop.

Is this the same with Blu-Ray players in Windows? Or could I expect that they will keep on working for years to come? (Referring to the ones that you have to pay for)

P.S.> Pardon my newb-ness in this, but that I am.

It's the same for set-top Blu-ray players, too. At some point you have to update your player (either online or via a USB stick) in order to be able to play the newest movies.

True, its just sounded like it would be a process that I would have to repeat for every single Blu-Ray movie I'd buy.
Or that I would always have to wait for a period of time before I could watch every new movie I'd buy.
