I can all movies (BD and HD-DVDs) will not open. If I use the button "Open BluRay disc" hit opens a window, reading Processing AV clips.
The program ends with the message: Failed to open disk. The window "Select content" does not open.
Please help ...

Sorry, my English is not so good ;)

Please see the log window (the lower part of the program screen) for more details - it should specify exact cause of failure.

It does not specify anything of the sort, the window is blank.

Have you actually tried this program on any BD/HD DVD discs ? If so, which ones worked, I'd like to duplicate that if possible.

Same here. I just tried 19 BD and one HD-DVD, no one worked and the only "information" you get is "Failed to open disc", that's it. As far as I am concerned I am very sorry to say that - for me - the program is useless at this stage.

This sounds very badly - the program should just work with BD/HD-DVD. I would much appreciate if you can provide more information. Please enable logging of debug messages in settings menu (screenshot is below, the option is present in the last version) and try to open the disc. The log window should not be empty at that point - please post it here and that should provide a clue. Also, what kind of BD/HD-DVD drive are you using? Thank you.

Thanks a lot for providing this info - it was very helpful. There was indeed a bug in a program that prevented it from opening Blu-ray and HD-dvd discs that were already decrypted by AnyDVD. The new version is available for download that should open these discs.
ThomasG wrote: so the drive is "Elby Clonedrive 1.2"
Also, please note that MakeMKV can open decrypted iso files directly from File-Open menu, there is no need to mount iso file in virtual drive. Processing should be much faster when iso file is opened directly.

This means that blu-ray disc is already decrypted and MakeMKV was confused. That was corrected in latest version.

This is a very strange error coming from UDF layer. Are you sure that iso image is not corrupted? Can you open this iso with any other software?

Again, the program did not expect some control files on HD-DVD to be already decrypted. That is corrected in the latest version.

That was the bad surprise. The program was supposed to open this disc just fine, but the host certificate inside the program was revoked by AACS and it failed to read volume id from the disc. This happened because your drive has "seen" some very recent Blu-ray discs and revoked the certificate. The keys will be updated in future versions, but for now you won't be able to open discs directly. :(

That is what it says. Current beta version uses really old AACS keys and it hits. We'll try to update the keys soon.

My pleasure. Actually the new version is indeed able to open all the BD and HD-DVD files, even the Hulk iso file now can be opened without problems.
BTW yes, I do open the files directly, just provided the "Elby Clonedrive 1.2" for informational purposes.

afaiac that is not an issue at all since I backup every BD on Harddisk anyway.

Do I need to download any encryption keys or do anything else after installation?
No, the program should open Hd-DVDs just fine without any additional keys/software. Please note that HD-dvd support is relatively poor, notably many VC-1 tracks are not supported. The error above is very strange, it says that some files are missing on disc. very strange.

This should be working in version 1.2

Failed to decode audio/video data for title #4 - invalid mux or internal error, title skipped.
This is what it says. HD-DVD titles that use VC-1 are generally not supported. The rest of errors are essentialy the same - either not supported VC-1 or demux error that was fixed in latest version. Please keep in mind that only "non-HD" audio tracks are supported for HD-DVDs.

Thank you for trying. I wish it worked better for you, but HD-dvd lost the format war and significant improvements to the program with respect to HD-DVD support are unlikely to happen in the near future.
