I've just noticed the message "Stream #0 of type 'MPEG audio' in file [vtsn=1 ttn=1 svobu=0] was skipped" in the bottom pane. Any ideas of cause?

Thanks

Ok, I've found a related thread - http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=526
It looks like MakeMKV is no good for my DVDs - any alternatives or workarounds?

Thanks

pragnatek,
I have a few DVDs that did not have audio in MakeMKV as well. I believe it is "MPEG Audio" format which is not a current standard. It has been stated that MakeMKV will not support MPEG Audio so I use SmartLabs tsMuxeR (free) to make .ts files when I run into this problem. Two negatives in doing this is .ts files do not support chapters as far as I can tell and running tsMuxeR takes more effort to convert a DVD. MKV files from MakeMKV are my first choice.
Hope this helps 8-)
