I've been using MakeMKV for about a week with no problems and have been very happy with the features. This afternoon, with no changes on my end, I started receiving the following error message:

"This application version is too old. Please download the latest version at http://www.makemkv.com or enter a registration key to continue using the current version."

I am then given the option to hit "OK" (which closes MakeMKV) or "Register" which opens a window to enter a registration key.

I did go to the site and downloaded the most recent version, 1.8.3 and reinstalled it (this was the version I had installed originally, too) to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have the same issue...and there is no new version to download.

I have used this application for a few months and think it is one of best and simplest product out there. Is there a date which this product can be purchased so we do not have have to deal with the expiration date?

I ran into the same issue, but I was able to use the Beta key here to get past it:

Just hit the register button and copy/paste in that key.

I am having the same issue.. uninstalled twice..
