Hi guys, I just download the software and I have various questions:
- Can I decrypt bluray movies without internet connection?
- I have an acer 5517 with dvd rom. I have an external bluray burner Pioneer BD-RW BDR-TD03 connected and power by usb. The program does not recognized the burner for decryption, only the internal dvd-rom that came with acer. How can I decrypt a bluray? Any help? Thanks!!!

One thread works better.
However, you might want to get more power for the drive, as there are some threads here about a Samsung USB drive that had issues ripping while only being bus powered.

Hi!
You may have to install a "UDF 2.50" driver (Although I believe Makemkv takes care of that invisibly)...

By all means, do NOT install UDF driver. You are likely only to get additional problems without any benefits.

BY ALL MEANS, if "mike admin" says "DON'T INSTALL THE UDF 2.50 DRIVER" then DON'T install it.
He's the author and he certainly knows best!!!

Suddenly it recognized the drive, thanks!! I want to backup my movies in Bluray discs but the mayority of them are above 25gb.
- How I split from mkv to two BMDV folders for backup my bluray movies?
- How I compress 30gb from mkv to BDMV to one bluraydisc?
Thanks

You would have to re-author the disks using a BD authoring program, OR go with dual-layer BD disks, which will hold up to 50GB.
By re-authoring, you can remove things you don't want, like extras, unwanted audio/subtitle tracks, etc. If the main title is over 25GB, though, dual-layer is the only way you can do it and still have the result playable in a BD player.

What did you do or alter that now allowed it to recognize your Blu-ray drive?

So compress files can not be play in a bd player (ps3)?
I load avatar 3d and appears two files of 49gb. One with only one chapter and the other one with all the chapters. Both 49gb. I have to convert both to mkv for playback in bluray player?

regarding the driver, suddenly recognized it. I did not do anything.
