New version downloaded twice but no worky

I love this software however I downloaded it 3 times the last 2 because it said it was out of date, after the second install I removed the software from my system and downloaded and installed again but still getting error of the version being to old. Any fixes?

Yeah, same thing just happened to me.
First tried uninstall from control panel programs (Win7), then from MakeMKV uninst; same thing both times.
I know this happened before and there was a simple fix, but cant for the life of me remember what it was.
