Hi,

I have been using MKV without any probs for ages but when I opened it today Im getting "The program can't find any usable optical drives.". Im running the program as the Administrator but the error remains....It was working last week. Any ideas appreciated.

When you have a disk in the drive(s), can the operating system see them?

If the operating system doesn't see the drives, MakeMKV won't, either.

Note that some USB-attached drives have "power issues" when using USB power only, and will disappear from the operating system. This can happen "suddenly", like you're reporting, when one or more additional USB devices are plugged in, and the USB power becomes inadequate to power everything. A powered hub can often make the problem go away.
