Problem with forced subtitles

Post by Serhio »

Hi. Tnx for your program.
I have a problem on one disk.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) {2-Disc Edition} Blu-ray 3D CEE 1080p AVC DD5.1

I select only Russian audio and Russian forced subtitles. MakeMKV make it work without errors. But during playing mkv file I see Russian and English forced subtitles at the same time. What can I do in this situation?

Try remuxing it with mkvtoolnix to remove the undesired subtitle streams, as well as anything else that you might want to get rid of.

Could you be so kind as to post the output from a MediaInfo scan of your Hobbit rip?

If it's anything like Lord of the Rings extended on Blu-ray, the English forced subtitles are rendered over the video, not a separate track - so you can't turn them off.

 It's my mistake. It is hardsub in English in video. I am sorry. False alarm.
