MakeMKV rip to AVC (h264) rather than VC-1 format

Have been a registered user of program for over a year and congratulate you on a job well done.
I would like to be able to use MakeMKV in conjunction with MkvtoMp4 to allow me to rip from blu ray to a Plex/Apple compatible format WITHOUT re-encoding.
Problem is that for MkvtoMP4 to simply repackage rather than re-encode, the mkv format must be AVC (h264) rather than VC-1 (see question http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/3406 ... ost2203738 and answer (http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/3406 ... ost2205179 to MkvtoMp4 program author "oreons").
Is there any way currently to accomplish this in MakeMkv?
Currently Plex needs to transcode the mkv produced from blu-ray/dvd rips by MakeMKV on the fly. I would prefer to avoid this by repackaging into a Plex playable format using MkvtoMp4.
Thanks again for your efforts.
