Hi!

I'm trying out the beta version and have had no real problems, until a couple of days ago.

I had version 1.7.7 on my computer when, last thursday I think it was, the program crashed instantly upon entering. I thought that it maybe had something to do with the version and, when I saw 1.7.8 had been released, downloaded the new version and installed it. No change. I still get the instant crash.

So basically I can't enter the program at all. I had no disc in the drive when starting the program, and have not changed anything on my computer (no new programs installed, no settings changed etc.). It all worked well, and then all of a sudden it started crashing.

Any ideas what's going on? Would a purchased version fix this, would it be more stable?

Thanks, but I'm afraid that's not an option.

Is there a way to find out why the crash occurs? A log file of some sort?
Would such a file be of help?

The error text is the following: "MakeMKV console application has encountered a problem and needs to close".

I managed to get some kind of error log file, I'll attach it to this post.
Edit: My OS is Windows XP SP3.
Any thoughts?
