Can't rip Star Wars IV DVD
Posted: Wed Aug 05, 2009 12:42 pm
I've been trying to rip Star Wars IV from this box set but MakeMKV cant create a file from it stating copy failed at the end. Even using AnyDVD and ripping to the HD cannot get round it, the DVD is weirdly made I'm guessing. MakeMKV detects 5 angles at 6.1GB each and it fails if I try to rip angle 1 no matter what.
This is what it says after opening the disc
It is at all possible to correct this ?
This is what it says after opening the disc
After copying it goes all the way right to the end then says "Copy complete. 0 titles saved, 1 failed." then it brings me back to the previous screen in MakeMKV only now angle 1 is gone from the selection.MakeMKV v1.4.6 beta win(x86-release) started
Using direct disc access mode
Cells 76-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Complex multiplex encountered - 2 cells and 1241 VOBUs have to be scanned. This may take some time, please be patient - it can't be avoided.
