tried to login, but was told version is too old

downloaded and installed 1.7.4, but message was this version was also too old

any thoughts?

sorry to be stupid, i found a work around

I must be more stupid, but I have not found a work around. I have uninstalled twice and still getting error. Any help would be appreciated
