Presently MakeMKV supports AACS v31+ . The "Chronicle" is being worked on, SVQ file will be updated in a few days.

I tried ripping Chronicle with the latest version and received an error on both the cinema and director cut versions.

I have successfully backed up Chronicle so it is probably a dirty/scratched disc. Post the log here and we can tell you for sure.
