Hallo,
who can help me?
I installed Makemkv before and my firewall warns me before several outgoing
want to install this program. When it was installed it worked firstonce,
but I operate on the computer while offline.
But always wanted MakeMKV contact with the Internet.
Then once I have my firewall arranges the selected block.
Since I can not even start MakeMKV with firewall turned
off the program! A new installation of MakeMKV brought it nothing!

Assuming you're talking Windows here...

Make sure you have the latest version downloaded.

Next, either restart your computer, OR open the task manager, and find ANY running task with "makemkv" in its name, and kill it. Do NOT try starting MakeMKV until after the next step.

Run the install.

You should be able to run it after the install, without the initialization error.

Access to internet can be turned on later - it's used to check for updates, and to download the latest BD information as it changes.
