Is this "backup" feature specifically for BD or should it be available for any DVD?
I followed the steps to try and make a backup of a dual layer DVD disc but my backup option is grayed out.

I've tried every program imaginable to make a backup of this DVD and they all fail with disc read errors but, MakeMKV is able to send all of the disc's files to .mkv output so, obviously the disc isn't too full of errors. I'd really just like to back it up though to keep the original DVD out of the kiddos hands.

1) What is the Title and Region of the problematic DVD?

2) SPECIFICALLY, what programs have you tried to use to make a backup?

3) Have you tried cleaning the disc?

4) Have you examined the disc for physical damage (scratches)?
