Help Please

I have a WP50NB40 drive that I'm attempting to flash with no luck. I have the SDFtool 1.3.6, MakeMkv 1.18.3, and found what I think are the flash files:
DE_LG_BP50NB40-NB50_1.01_MK_HBD.bin
DE_LG_BP60NB10_1.00_MK_HBD.bin
Using the tool, I select the drive, then Recovery, it asks for a file DE_LG_BP50NB40-NB50_1.01_MK_HBD.bin and I use DE_LG_BP60NB10_1.00_MK_HBD.bin for the Firmware to Write and select start. it runs with no errors or comments so I assume it worked. But the information data from MakeMKV does not seem to change.
Im at a lost for help or someone who can service the unit.
Thanks for your help.
