Hello people,

Just wanted to say, if you have a DVD writer / reader around and lots of DVDs. Try to use a normal DVD writer / reader with MakeMKV instead of your more expensive Libre drive Bluray writer / reader. More economic.

I have a SE-208 from Saumsung lying around and tried with a B movie, which is actually very decent called "The blackout" mini series , 2019, director Egor Baranov. Created ISO files from it.

The drive sells for a much lower price. Not tested with Blockbuster DVDs yet. Will give it a try later.

Makes sense to use a cheaper DVD drive for DVD ripping and save our expensive Blu-ray/UHD drives for ripping Blu-rays/UHDs.

Just made an ISO of the movie Birds of pray 2019. Watched it, no problemo. If anyone have a difficult one and likes me to try creating an ISO, please ask, I can see if I have that movie in my posession.

MakeMKV version 1.18.1
Watched through VLC connected to MakeMKV. MakeMKV has the option to connect and use VLC. The so called "integration tab" is not found in VLC!
It is in MakeMKV.
