Hello all

I Hope you are Well.

I have been trying to find Arrow (DC) Boxset in the UK without success.

I have found it available in the US but it is NTSC.

Since I have never dealt with NTSC Bluray before, can anyone Please tell me if MakeMKV would be able to Rip these Disks to MKV and for them to be Playable in Plex?

I want to make sure this will work before spending my Money.

Thanks in advance

Kevin

Blu-rays do not use NTSC or PAL.

Hello

Thanks for the Reply.

That is Good to know, so I will be able to Rip them as with any UK Disks.

It will also allow me to get hold of other TV Shows on Bluray that I am having difficulty getting hold of in the UK.

Thanks

Kevin

I buy Blu-rays from many different countries and never had an issue. I once bought the UK and US version of a movie. The discs were bit-for-bit identical.

Hello

This will be my First foray into Ripping a Large TV Series, Arrow has 8 Seasons.

I am comfortable with Ripping Movies, I have Ripped 120 so far with more to go and everything works, including Forced Subtitles.

Do you know of any Guides, or Tips for Ripping TV Series Blurays, either would be appreciated.

Thanks

Kevin

I'm sure there are guides out there, but I just learned by doing.

Typically, I use Process Explorer (free from Microsoft) to determine what the mpls for each episode is. I filter on the player's exe and mpls files and play each episode. I've only ever seen this method fail with those horrid Lionsgate discs that use Java and have 100s of fake titles.

Hello

Thanks for the Tip.

I have used Process Explorer, Years ago but not for this.

How do you Filter for the Player, and also for the MPLS, I thought you could only Filter by One thing at a Time?

I apologize. I meant "Process Monitor."

I find DVDCompare.net is often helpful in figuring out what's on a disc.
