Automate MakeMKV

Hi,
I've just started using MakeMKV to rip our DVD collection which will then be played using XBMC.
I'd like to be able to automatically rip a DVD when it's inserted into the computer (uncompressed with all audio and all subtitles).
The computer is currently running Ubuntu 11.04 but I also have Windows 7 and Mac OS X Lion installed on other computers which I'd also like to help compress.
Any advice appreciated.
