Hi all!

Not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, so please let me know if I should be posting somewhere else, but I'm running into a weird situation I've never encountered before trying to rip my DVD collection of Gunslinger Girl. On Season 2, disc one, MakeMKV only shows one track (which was the same for Season 1 discs), but it's supposed to be a track with episodes one through 7, but the only track is only 25 minutes long:

This should be like two and a half hour track at around 5GB, but it's not, it's only showing like one episode. Is this a copy protection thing on the disc? Any insight would be appreciated.

MakMKV has different DVD Opening modes you can try.

Thanks for the tip! I tried reading the disc on Auto, CellWalk, CellTrim, and CellFull, all with the same result. I guess I just can't rip this disc...

I suppose the other thing you could try is making a decrypted backup of the disc (the icon of the yellow folder with the green arrow on the first screen of MakeMKV). This will produce an .iso file of the DVD. You could then open that in MKVToolNix. It might be able to navigate the disc's structure more successfully.
