this topic is not directly related to makemkv, but maybe to mkv. I have an external hdd where i store my mkv-files on. When i try to copy them from the hdd to my pc, i only get around 15Mb/s for most of the mkv files. For others, i get the full 110Mb/s what my hdd can offer and i have tested with various other files and benchmarking tools. Attached screenshot visualises the behavior. It is tested on windows and linux. Can anyone confirm this behavoir or has an idea about it? The drive is exFAT and USB 3.

I tried defragment the disk with windows built in tools, but they don't support exFAT. So i downloaded some OSS and thad did the trick. If fragmentation is an issue, why is there not built in tools in windows. Don't know. Thanks to everyone who thought on this topic.
