I ripped my newly bought Planet Earth bluray with Makemkv. The video looks great (has removed certain small clips though). But i don't hear any audio when i play it through MPC-HC on my XPS laptop. Which is supposed to play any format thrown to it and it has worked great for me so far for other rippes. I tried MediaInfo and it shows AC-3 audio stream with 48kHz 16bits 6 channels.

Any suggestions.

I can't think of anything that would cause AC3 audio to be non-playable. Did you use mediainfo on MKV file and it shows that audio is there?
