I’ve been running into a small problem with my MakeMKV license key this week. The previous temporary key seems to have expired, and when I try to launch the program, it refuses to validate. I know this is something that happens from time to time, but I wanted to ask if anyone knows when the updated key will be released.

Do you usually just wait for the official post on the forum, or is there another reliable way to get notified when the new key is available? I’m curious to hear how others handle this since it can put a pause on ripping projects mid-workflow.

The program tells you when the beta key has expired. The beta key message tells you when the current beta key expires, and gives you the current beta key. And you want the author to post a new message every two months, telling people, "The free beta key is expiring! The new one is XXXXXXX"?
