I just created an account for the forum to also confirm that purchasing permanent keys works again.

I saw my key immediately on the purchase conformation page and also instantly got an e-mail containing the key. I entered the key into MakeMKV and that also worked, showing "expiration: never".

Yay, it works. you only need to provide a phone number if your using a card, should be fine with Paypal ( no phone number required).

I'm not the one you replied to, but I just purchased it too. You don't need to give a phone number. It's optional.

From what I remember, it was a required field because it had a red asterisk. I suppose you could try to buy it and only list an email address. You didn't have to verify that the phone number was valid/use a verification code sent by SMS for payment processing for what it's worth. You get the key in your email.

You do but you could always put a old phone number in, it's always best though to give your number if they need to get hold of you.

Just grabbed a key myself, no more key issues. E-mailed key straight away.

Does anyone know, regarding permanent licence key. When the software comes off beta. I assume the keys will just transfer over, as won't a new version be released.

Yeah, the permanent keys are lifetime keys so regardless of what happens with the beta, if you purchased a key for MakeMKV then it should work indefinitely.
