Hey so Just as the title says, I am new at this. I purchased a USB so I can load up movies I own onto it so I can put DVDs in my Van for my kids.
I thought everything was going amazing until I noticed it "Skipped a Title because it is too large" I figured it must've been nothing too serious and put all the other files onto my drive. After testing it out on my Player I realized that all I loaded was the preview ads. Now I looked at the file size of the movie and its 6GB barley makes a dent in my SanDisk 64 3.0.

Please any pointers will help so I can make this small file fit on my Drive and hopefully many more.

Did you get the "Skipped a Title because it is too large" message from Windows Explorer while trying to copy files onto your drive?

If so, what filesystem is on your drive? Some filesystems have limits on how big a file can be.

Yes, that is exactly what I am getting, my filesystem is FAT32

The maximum file size on FAT32 is 4GB. That's not a good filesystem choice for what you're trying to do.

exFAT is probably a better choice. You'll have to reformat your drive, which means everything that's on it will be erased. Make a copy of anything you don't want to lose.
