I’m pretty sure I bought a license key a while back (like a few years back) I don’t mind buying the license key, I just want to make sure I don’t already have a valid license key out there somewhere and I would rather not buy it twice. I sent an email to support@makemkv.com but have yet to hear anything back from there. Is that email account active? Is there somewhere else I should ask? Basically I’m 98% sure I have purchased a license before but I can’t find the email from makeMKV or payproglobal with the license key in any of my current email accounts which leads me to believe I may have purchased it with an old student email account that I don’t have access to any more

You may be able to still recover it from paypro. Go to https://payproglobal.com/customer-support/ and click on the chat icon. Tell it you didn't get your product. It will ask for your email address. Enter it there. If it finds the payment for that address it may resend the key.
