Questions About Using MakeMKV for Blu-ray Backups (Disc Menu)

Hi everyone,
I’m relatively new to using MakeMKV, and I’m doing my best to figure things out. If this question has already been asked, I apologize and appreciate any pointers. I’ve attempted to search for answers elsewhere, but I haven’t found anything that fits my situation.
Here’s my problem: I want to achieve the same experience with a rip or backup as if I were playing the physical Blu-ray (HD/UHD) disc in a player. The main reason for this is that I sometimes encounter issues with multi-lingual discs. Currently, I’m facing a specific issue with the German version of the Wicked UHD Blu-ray, which contains the German and English versions, as well as a "Sing-Along" version.
When I create a backup or rip (MKV files), I can access the German and English versions without any issues. However, I cannot find the Sing-Along version. Additionally, I experience problems with other multi-lingual discs, and I believe having the disc menu could or would help.
To resolve this, I attempted to create a BDMV/Backup, as I understood that this would include the disc menu. Unfortunately, Jellyfin as a player completely ignores everything except the main title, skipping the menus and bonus content. When using VLC Player to play a BDMV folder, it breaks at the disc menu.
Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to use different software? Or is there a general misunderstanding in my approach? I would greatly appreciate your input. (And please remember, my concern extends beyond just Wicked.)
Thanks, and best greetings from Germany!
Kev
P.S. I usually create MKV files for my Blu-rays, so I'm trying BDMV for this specific reason. If you have any other suggestions on why it might be beneficial to store the BDMV files as well, I would love to hear them. Could there be a benfit especially for 4k/UHD Dolby Vison / Atmos discs?
