MKV Disconnects from Drive frequently

Has anyone had this problem when changing disc MKV disconnects from my Drive and I have to shut down MKV then open it again this happens a lot, I have the latest version of MKV installed.

I almost never have that happen but at this point it is rare for me to rip more than one or two discs in a row.

When the drive disappears, does the computer still see it or has it seemingly disappeared from the whole computer?
