When will Makemkv be able to cope with reasonably up-to-date hardware?

Hello!
I would like to know when there will be a version of Makemkv that works with UHD and a reasonably up-to-date Pioneer player.
I have the following drive:

BD-RE Pioneer BD-RW BDR-S13U CGDL001019WL

It would be nice if I could finally get my DVDs, Blurays and UHDs to run on an external drive.

Then I would also buy Mankemkv, unfortunately it is worthless for me.

Many thanks in advance.

Yours sincerely, R.Lehmeier

Most likely never. Pioneer encrypted their new firmwares and took the UHD capabilities. Blame it on them.

I have.
Let's see what excuse they have.

I still hope you won't give up.

Forget it. They caved to the MPAA w/o being blamed. Your drive will never be UHD capable. My bet. Get another one from a seller.
