Hi. I have an issue with AV Sync video frame timecode being different.

I am using MKV version 1.17.8 - Windows 64bit release.

Can anyone she some light about these errors? What is the impact? I have search this form but found nothing but posts that are old (at least 5 years old) and it was kind of confusing to me and so I don't know what to do.

AV synchronization issues were found in file 'E:/PLEX MOVIES/Movies/I1_t03.mkv' (title #4)

This seems normal for a disk that has varying sources between sections. MakeMKV was able to compensate for the differences, and it reported that it was doing so.

There's an entry about in the MakeMKV FAQ that gives a high level overview.

Thank you for your response. I have read the FAQ but it's not telling me anything other than a more recent MKV version (1.15.4+) will resolve it. I have ripped about 150 DVDs, all standard DVD. The one that gave me the error is Jurassic World Dominion which is the latest Jurassic release (2022). What the FAQ does not tell me if I should take any action. Should I?

Again, thank you.

I'm sorry I missed your reply. So, you are saying that there is nothing for me to worry about and that the video/audio will be in sync during playback?

Yeah, it should be fine.

Thank you for sharing the link. I read a chunk of those comments and offered various solutions. I am going to assume that it's not necessary to implement those suggestions as they are about 5 years old now.

I will just watch the movie and see if there are any video/audio sync issues.
