It is working on my Mac. In fact, it is running in the background as I type this.
What is happening on your Mac?

On mine, it hasn't worked for months. I've only used my Windows computer. The problem that I am having is I can hear the disc is skipping about 2 to 3 minutes into the rip and then at the end it almost just stops.

Are you using the same optical drive on both your Mac and your Windows computer or does each computer have a separate optical drive?
And does your Mac have this behavior with 1 particular disc or with all discs that you try?

I only have one optical drive and it happens with every movie and I have a Mac mini M1.

Thanks, man you were right. It was the power supply. It was not all the way in because I'm using adapter one thing I can recommend to everybody does ripping a lot is to buy a 5V fan and put it on top of the optical drive.
