Hi, I just need clarification on a point.

If i want to perserve lossless audio, Do I need to have both DTS-HD Master and the core stream selected. If I deselect the core stream am I losing detail or does makemkv output the combined streams if only DTS-HD Master is selected?

Many Thanks

If you select the core only, you only get the core. If you select only DTS-HD MA, you get both, because the DTS core is always present in DTS-HD MA.

Is this the same for DD and TrueHD?

No, the TrueHD and AC3 streams are independent.

So to summerise; When ripping DTS HD there is no need to select the original 'core' stream as well as its included. But when ripping DD TrueHD you have to select both if you want the option of listening to DD (non HD)?
