A change was introduced in MakeMKV v 1.6.6 that could cause a program crash ("Fatal error occurred") on Windows with certain BD-ROM drives. If you experience this error please do the following.

- Download update ZIP file attached to this post
- Launch Windows explorer and navigate to folder where MakeMKV is installed
- Ensure that MakeMKV is not running
- Delete two files from that folder - libdriveio.dll and libdriveio64.dll
- Copy two files from attached archive in place of deleted ones.

If this update fixes the error for you, please reply in this thread with the following information:
- Manufacturer and model of your BD-ROM drive
- Is it external or internal drive
- If external, the model of USB enclosure

If this update didn't fix the error, please submit the dump per instructions at http://www.makemkv.com/onlinehelp/dump.html

Had this problem in 1.6.6 and 1.6.7.

Haven't finished extracting a BluRay yet but it has made it past the disc analysis stage where it was crashing before and seems to be trucking OK on extraction; however it seems slower than normal or gears down occasionally (perhaps some extra debugging code in the temporary patch?).

Drive: Liteon iHOS104 WL0B
Type: External
Enclosure: NexStar DX NST-530SU (Using eSATA interface)
