In the last month, I have identified a number of old accounts that have suddenly appeared as spammers. One today was from 2020, and it was removed/banned.
If you have a "simple password", or one that you use on multiple accounts around the web, I suggest you re-assess your usage, to avoid finding yourself banned here.
For most of you, not being able to post here may not be a "big deal", but, what if every site you shared a user ID and password on started showing you up as a spammer? Anywhere you are active should have a unique password.

Re: Check your passwords!
I will re-emphasize this topic AGAIN. We have had three accounts in the last two days that appear to have been compromised and used for spamming. All appeared to be "normal" accounts until they were taken over.
If your password is stolen and your account compromised, it doesn't matter how helpful you've been on the forum to that point - your account will be blocked, and all previous posts will be removed.
