So I’m new to MakeMKV and have a compatible drive with the correct firmware (Asus internal drive). I tried test ripping some of my 4K movies: Bullet Train, Harry Potter 1, and Mad Max Fury Road. I’ve read that MakeMKV can rip Dolby Vision but my Bullet Train rips on my NAS playback in HDR10 using my Oppo 203 to my LG OLED C1. When I rip Harry Potter I see and select the DTS:X track but the rip doesn’t have any audio. Additionally, on Bullet Train I forced MakeMKV to force the actual forced subtitle track and it plays back correctly from my VLC media player on my PC but the subtitles didn’t show when I played it from my Oppo. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong with my rips. My Oppo passes Dolby Vision and DTS:X to my Denon 6400 then to my Dolby Vision compatible TV. Any help with Dolby Vision and DTS:X would be appreciated.
