Can MakeMKV retrieve dvd DISC region info?

Is there a way I can use MakeMKV to retrieve region information from a dvd DISC?
I can use the Windows Device Manager to determine the region of a dvd READER, but I can’t find a way to read the region info from a dvd DISC that is inserted into a dvd reader.
And yes, there are legitimate dvd (boxes) that do no provide region info on the cover, e.g. Adventures of Superman 5th & 6th season and others.
Of course, I could use my regio 2 dvd player to try, but I have it stocked it somewhere because I don’t use it anymore.
