Hi all.
A new guy from Sweden here. My english might be a little odd sometimes.

Well, i?m trying to converte an .iso that is on my hardrive. It worked som time ago, but now i just get a message that say that "not disc inserted". But it did work before to take an iso from my harddrive, and converte it into MKV which i then put in a folder also on my harddrive. Have been looking in preferenses, but cant find any settings to make it work.

What shall i do?
What settings must i adjust?
Why did it work before, but not now?

Its MakeMKV Beta.

Would be grateful for all help from you guys.

Hi again.

I?m also get this message when im trying to cenverte:
"Using direct disc access mode
Failed to open disc"

Would be grateful to get some help so i can converte .iso to .mkv. I use seervio mediaplayer to watch movies throug my Samsung BD, and it doesnt take .iso.

1) What is the original source material from which you created the .ISO image file?

2) What software and procedures did you use to create the .ISO image file?

Hi.
Thanx for your answer.

The .iso is created from a bunch of rar-files which is from a DVD.
And i have used Winrar to unpack it. Just click on the first rar-file and then extract them.

In order to properly use MakeMKV to create an .MKV, simply load the ORIGINAL, COMMERCIAL DVD (NOT the .ISO image file) into makeMKV...
