Question on ripping to BDMV

I have some discs that I have ripped to BDMV and just wanted to make sure it is working correctly. I'm using Infuse 7 Pro as the client.
Once the rip is done and I go to the folder this is what I see for example:

(Folder) The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
(Folder) BDMV
(Folder) CERTIFICATE
(Folder) MAKEMKV
index.bdmv
index.nfo
MovieIndex.bdmv

Need to know if this is correct, because on the Infuse forum, I'm being told that the BDMV under the parent folder should not be a folder, but rather a AVCHD file. If this is correct why am I not getting that after ripping??

Thanks for any info you can provide.

A standard BluRay has no avchd files. It seems like there are explicit AVCHD Discs, which share some similarities with BluRays, but not all: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD#Overview

Yesterday I got Howard the Duck on BluRay for example, and it looks like this (directly from the original BluRay):
