I recommend verifying such issues by submitting the program to the antivirus company's test site. So far, I've never had a "real" complaint for MakeMKV from any of the vendors on VirusTotal, but that does not mean they could come true. VirusTotal tests just about every vendor that offers a remote test, and some of them are "stupor aggressive".

What's really phun is when Microsoft decides to tweak their algorithm for checking, which happens about once a year.
